My favorite was: "Regular moms judge other moms when kids have tantrums in stores. Special needs moms say to themselves, 'Hmm, I wonder which disability he has?' "
I never thought of Scott as having special needs either. He was just a part of our "family". It wasn't until I was older that I realized how much stress your parents had-and still have. Cole would love it if Hudson (and all of the kids) came over. Next time you are in Utah-CALL!

ReplyDeleteI do this ALL the time now! LOL
Guilty as charged. :/ I will never complain about driving my kids all over town to soccer games again!!
ReplyDeleteFunny-I bet my mom can really relate to some of these, although I don't see Scott as special needs.
If we lived closer Hudson would love to come over and have a play date with Cole.
